- Software Piracy Prevention
- To protect customer's interests, and as part of its commitment to the prevention of software piracy, DigiOn has been a participating member of the Association for Copyrights of Computer Software (ACCS) (Tokyo, Japan). Software piracy takes many forms including any kind of infringement of copyrights and software license agreements. For example, the simple copying or installation of software for other computers without proper licenses, putting unauthorized software on a network to be downloaded, the distribution, provision or selling of installed software onto CD/DVD media or programs to others through Internet auction sites or by other means is considered an act of software piracy. Software piracy not only causes damage to the software developers, but inflicts losses to licensed users as well. Software piracy is unlawful and its offenders are subject to legal penalties.
